HOW TO ADD RETINOIDS TO YOUR ROUTINE
- Asses your skin problems first.
Are you acne-prone? Have aging and wrinkled skin? Got any dark spots?
- Identify which retinoid is right for you.
This could be over-the-counter or available only by prescription.
- Slowly introduce it into your routine.
Start 1x/week, then every other day nightly after 1-2 weeks. For beginners, start with a lower retinoid concentration and gently build up as you go.
- Don't be afraid.
When used properly, retinoids can deliver the best results for your skin the longer (and earlier) you use them.
