If your skin is breakout-prone, congested, oily, or easily irritated, Mandelic Acid is your ideal AHA. It’s known for being gentle, but also uniquely suited for acne-prone skin because of its mild antibacterial properties and slight oil solubility which means it can cut through oil to reach pores more effectively.

While it’s not a heavy-duty acid, mandelic acid helps support clearer skin over time. It can assist in reducing C. acnes (acne) bacteria on the skin, lightly loosen pore buildup, and gradually fade post-acne marks, without the sting or barrier disruption often associated with stronger exfoliants.

At 5%, it’s strong enough to refine texture and even out tone, but still gentle enough to use several times a week even on sensitive or reactive skin types. It’s also a great option if you’re sensitive to Salicylic Acid (BHAs)!

How To Use

Tip! Always make sure to wear sunblock in the morning when using this product.

  1. After cleansing and toning, apply onto clean and dry skin.
  2. Begin by using every 3rd night, and increase frequency to once a day in the evening.
  3. For sensitive skin, use only every 2-3 nights.
  4. Important: Using an AHA will increase your skins' sensitivity to the sun, PLEASE use sunblock if using an AHA! If you use an AHA without sun protection, pigmentation WILL get darker.
