The most common AHA is glycolic acid because it works fast and gives that instant smooth, glass like, effect, within days. The drawback? It can be irritating, which is why glycolic acid often comes with a sting.

If your skin is reactive or easily sensitized, then using Lactic Acid is a gentler alternative that still delivers the same results. Because of its larger molecular size, it penetrates the skin slower, making it less likely to irritate or disrupt your barrier. At 5%, this serum can be used regularly (daily / every other day) to smooth texture, fade hyperpigmentation and reduce dullness.

Tip! Always make sure to wear sunblock in the morning when using this product.

1. After cleansing and toning, apply onto clean and dry skin.
2. Begin by using every 3rd night, and increase frequency to once a day in the evening.
3. For sensitive skin, use only every 2-3 nights.
4. Important: Using an AHA will increase your skins' sensitivity to the sun, PLEASE use sunblock if using an AHA! If you use an AHA without sun protection, pigmentation WILL get darker.
