Every retinoid requires a number of conversions to be accepted in the active form of retinoic acid, retinol requires two while retinal requires only one hence the higher potency.

1. If you have sensitive skin, apply after moisturizer or mix it with a cream
2. Apply in place of your moisturizer for normal skin
3. Lightly spread a thin layer from a pea sized amount on the entire face
4. Only apply in the evenings and make sure to wear sunscreen in the mornings
5. Do not use this together with any exfoliants
   
   IMPT - skin may turn red or flaky when you begin, this is normal and will reduce as your skin adjusts. You may start by using it 3x a week and then increase to every evening once the skin adjusts.
