been using this product for 5~ months (10/2025) so this counts as my review overall \o/
- this is a teeny tiny bottle which is great since for me this is perfect for travel & pinpointing spots - i usually get breakouts especially during that time of the month on my cheek and chin area frequently
- VERY lightweight gel consistency, slight inoffensive smell? not perfume. definitely disappears after application
- I've been using AHAs, BHAs and PHAs consistently for years so this didn't have any adverse reaction on me as it is - HOWEVER do not use it on the same routine with your actives with high concentration at the same time, you WILL get a bad reaction
- my breakouts usually disappear within 2-3 days tops after the initial application!
- when in the middle of an active breakout, my application method (AT NIGHT!!) is this:
- double cleanse > hydrating toner > benzoyl peroxide on affected spots > wait for 2~ mins > continue with the rest of my routine (serum, moisturizer)
- don't forget to follow up with your sunscreen of choice in the morning
- repeat as needed until breakout is gone
would definitely recommend this to skincare beginners who may be hesitant dabbling into acids and are currently experiencing active breakouts, especially now with summer in swing ^^
As someone who’s had acne prone skin half of her life, this is one of the best and gentlest skincare staple I’ve encountered!
I’ve tried so many BPO gels from different brands but most of them are harsh on my skin barrier and I experience stinging and skin redness.
What I loved: gentle but helps flatten cystic acne overnight, gel consistency, low dose of BPO, no harsh smell, doesn’t cause redness or flaking of the skin.
I’ve used this consistently for 4 months on my cystic acne and most of them have cleared up. I also don’t get new, painful cystic acne anymore which is a huge win for me. I’ll keep this on my skincare staples 🫶🏻
This did a solid job of clearing up my breakouts. I saw results after a month. I still get a few breakouts every now and then and my skin's just a bit texured but it's much better now compared to when I first used it.
Little by little it shows my skin is getting better because of this product. I'm absolutely loving it so far! My first use of it was only the 5g, and the results are somehow consistently effective and now i'm repurchasing it. :)
I currently have active pimples and recently started using this benzoyl peroxide. The results aren’t instant, but I love that it healed my active pimple without leaving a dark spot. It’s gentle yet effective on my skin. I will definitely repurchase this product!
