Benzoyl Peroxide



is an anti-acne topical ointment that works to reduce oil, clear dead skin cells and eliminate the p. acnes bacteria that causes pimples, whiteheads, blackheads to form.



2.5% + Micronized = Less Irritation



Studies show that 2.5% is just as effective as 5% but induces less irritation. This formulation also uses micronized particles (less than 10microns) compared to traditional benzoyl peroxide formulas which use >50 microns (the average size of the human pore). This means more effective pore penetration, stable, and non-irritating benzoyl peroxide.

Ingredients

Active Ingredient: 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide (acne care)
Other Ingredients: Carbomer, Edetate Disodium, Glycerin (moisture), Propylene Glycol, Saccharide Isomerate, Sodium Hydroxide, Water

How To Use

  1. After cleansing, and toner, apply as a spot treatment on active pimples every evening
  2. You may also apply a thin layer on problematic areas (ex. breakouts / blackheads)
  3. Make sure to wear sunscreen if exposed to the sun
  4. If sensitive, apply on top of a layer of moisturizer

    WARNING

    • Do not use if you are sensitive or are allergic to benzoyl peroxide
    • Patch test first!
    • Make sure to wear sunscreen!

Less irritating version of benzoyl peroxide

This was recommended to me by their skin expert for my breakouts. I was a bit hesitant at first bc I didn't have a good experience with BP before, but surprisingly I liked this one better than the Bnzc. I did experience flakiness and slight stinging during the first 2 weeks (which was totally normal) but over time my acne/breakouts became more manageable.

I’m now on my 5th week of using it and while I still have some pimples, they’re definitely less noticeable. I'd say this is a less irritating but equally effective version of BP :)
