This is the 0.05% variant, if you are looking for something stronger you may try Dr. Different's Vitalift-A FORTE (Retinal 0.1%).
Why We Love It
The Ultimate All-In-One Ingredient: Retinoids
There's a reason why everyone's scrambling to get one in their routine; retinoids are a family of compounds that communicate with skin cells to encourage younger and healthier cells to make their way to the surface. This means faster cellular turnover, collagen stimulation, active wrinkle reduction, fading of pigmentation.
Next Level Retinal
The most popular over-the-counter retinoid is retinol, so what's a retinal? Both (among others) are under the family of retinoids, but retinal is more potent than retinol, yielding faster and more visible results. Every retinoid requires a number of conversions to be accepted in the active form of retinoic acid, retinol requires two while retinal requires only one hence the higher potency.
Stabilized Delivery System
A stronger retinoid also means a possibility of increased irritation. Dr. Different's Vitalift is stabilized with niosome technology, a delivery system in which retinals are encapsulated in niosomes to improve penetration while minimizing irritation on the skin.
